Digital& Attends 2024 Mid-Autumn Gala in Vietnam

Recently, the management team of Digital&, as a representative of Chinese digital service enterprises, was honored to be invited to the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala of the China Chamber of Commerce in Ho Chi Minh City, themed “The Bright Moon Shines on the Chamber, Building the Future Together.”


The gala was held grandly at the ADORA International Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Wei Huaxiang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Xu Zhou, Deputy Consul General; Mr. Du Yuehe, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr. Vu Xincheng, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); Mr. Tran Ngoc Liem, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City VCCI; Mr. Tran Ke Tam, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association; Mr. Hang Weiyao, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Entrepreneur Association and Chairman of the Vietnam-China Industrial Park, along with representatives from regional associations, entrepreneurs' federations, and about 1,000 representatives from chamber member companies, who gathered to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

Mr. Wei Huaxiang, the Consul General, shared insights from the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing that openness is a defining feature of Chinese modernization. He expressed gratitude to the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Chamber and various business associations for their active contributions to promoting high-quality domestic development, deepening pragmatic China-Vietnam cooperation, and fostering closer people-to-people ties. The Consulate General will continue to play its role as a bridge, supporting business associations and enterprises across the Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to shoulder their responsibilities, unite their efforts, and jointly deepen the strategic China-Vietnam community of shared destiny.

Mr. Ding Wei, President of the Ho Chi Minh Chamber of Commerce, remarked that under the leadership of the parties and governments of China and Vietnam, bilateral relations have reached new heights in recent years. In the first half of 2024, bilateral trade reached USD 95.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%. This growth is creating more development opportunities for the peoples of both countries and opening vast new spaces for the business development of Chinese and Vietnamese entrepreneurs alike.
